Program InformationMichelle Sanchez teaches with a smile

Our program is setup to serve local and international non-native speakers who want to improve their English skills. Students who enroll in the program will take a placement test to determine their ability level in English grammar, listening, and reading. After completing the placement evaluation, the program coordinator and instructors examine the results and students are placed in one of the following three levels: beginning, intermediate, or advanced.

Full-time students will receive 18-hours of class instruction and 4-hours of teacher-guided computer lab work each week. Classes include the following: Pronunciation, Listening, & Speaking, Vocabulary, Writing, Grammar, Reading, and TOEFL Preparation (for advanced students only). Textbook(s) are required and available for purchase at the Campus Bookstore.

All University fees, health insurance, housing (optional), and meal plans (required with housing) must be paid to the University directly. These are paid at the Student Account Services windw located in University Hall (formerly Fine Arts Hall).

Tuition should be paid at the front desk in the Continuing Education building located at the Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center. Ask us about available payment plans.
