Student Benefits

According to ELI Students, here are a few of the many reasons to attend the ELI.

  • Free transportation within the university - View the bus schedule.
  • Free access to the Internet (from our computer labs and library), gym, library, tennis courts, etc.
  • Health services and counseling services inside CSU campus (for F1 international students only)
  • Health Insurance is available for local students. International students are required to buy health insurance.
  • Scholarships are available.

In the English Language Institute you will have the opportunity to:

  • Take classes in reading, writing, grammar, listening/speaking, vocabulary, and pronunciation
  • Choose electives, such as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) preparation and idiom and current issues
  • Start at your own level in each skill, whether beginning, intermediate or advanced
  • Progress to a higher level at the end of each session
  • Learn from highly qualified instructors - Our excellently trained teachers are our biggest strength.
  • Study in small classes, averaging 10 students
  • Participate in outside the classroom activities through the American Culture Experience program (ACE) and the One Cougar World Association - These activities are designed to enhance the learning process.
